Contested deletion

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because I Manage Cara Elizabeth Quici and I need her wikipedia up for her online presence. Here is my website www.DarwinWorldMedia.com & here is Cara Quici's website www.CaraQuici.com. I will be editing citations and links in the next 48 hrs. Thank You ... (your reason here) --Darwinworldmedia (talk) 04:52, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've determined that this was an attempt to move a page to a new title, although improperly done. BlowingTopHat 05:05, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've added http://www.caraquici.com but I did not add your website because it is not directly connected to the subject. BlowingTopHat 05:36, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (here are some reliable references http://www.cnbc.com/id/46412030/Pop_Star_Cara_Quici_Pays_Homage_to_Madonna_Debbie_Harry & http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/we_hear_BECqs6kwd80XQqGNarug6H & http://www.scribillare.com/pop-singer-photoshoot-pays-homage-to-stars-of-the-eighties/ & http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/23/idUS165574+23-Mar-2012+BW20120323 & http://encoremag.com/new-york/articles/11094/cara-quici-the-new-lady-gaga (Cara Quici Youtube Interview) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnLDYdCyfRY Thank you) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darwinworldmedia (talkcontribs) 22:28, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Promotional" refers to the tone of the article, not whether the facts in it are true. I recommend that you rewrite the article based on what reliable sources have written about Cara Quici, using your own words. Stick to the facts as described in the sources. Include references so readers, including other editors, can verify the facts in the article. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 00:50, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would add that your statement above that "I Manage Cara Elizabeth Quici and I need her wikipedia up for her online presence" puts you in violation of several Wikipedia policies and guidelines, particularly WP:COI (conflict of interest) and WP:SOAP (Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion). As Malik above says, articles must be neutral, verifiable and based on reliable (not subjective) sources. The onus is on the creator of an article to provide such sources.
