Untitled

Light Up The World is the fourth studio album by British pop group Steps. The album was released on 12 November 2012, and is the band's first studio album since 2000's Buzz. It is also the first release on Steps' own label Steps Recordings. Recording sessions began in August 2012, and took place over a period of two months, concluding in October 2012.

The Christmas-themed album was announced on September 24, 2012, to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the release of their debut single 5, 6, 7, 8. The album has been supported by the lead single of the same name, UK signings and a 6-date UK tour entitled Christmas with Steps.

The Re-View gave the title track a positive review: "Light Up The World" is a big pop ballad, drenched in 90's nostalgia, with a dramatic swooping chorus and is quite wonderful. While music tastes and styles have certainly changed since they last troubled the singles chart, there is something quite refreshing about Steps’ unapologetic old pop skool approach to their new release...".[1]
