Look I have attempted to discuss this with you previously. Even though you edit from an IP it is fairly obvious from the edit summary who you are.

I consider the make of the car of use since it offers insights into Gow's lifestyle. He wasn't a rich man by any means. You are entitled to disagree but given we do disagree to change an existing consensus requires agreement from other editors on wikipedia. The talk page is the place to go, not abusive edit summaries or edit warring.

And before you continue with the usual refrain of whinging that I'm only reverting you 'cos you're an IP, I've already looked at your other edits and decided to leave them as a useful contribution. If you want to say that he wasn't rich, then say that he wasn't rich. Refusing to do that, but believing instead that the make of car that someone owns is a reliable indicator of their wealth, and assuming that the reader will know all about the finely calibrated scale of how 1980s British vehicle brands corresponded to the socio-economic status of their owners, is quite amazingly stupid.
