Patricia Todd is an American politician from Alabama. A Democrat, she looks on course to be elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in November 2006, having (it would seem) narrowly won the Democratic primary run-off on July 18. Provisional ballots in that race have yet to be counted.

If she has indeed won the run-off, her election is assured as no Republican has filed for the District 54 seat in downtown Birmingham. She would become the first ever openly gay elected official in the state of Alabama.

Her election campaign was heavily supported by the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund, which channeled "tens of thousands of dollars" into her campaign.

She is also notable as a white candidate in a majority-black district.
