Code Club AB was founded as Mojang Specifications by Rolf Jansson and Markus Persson in 2003 for development of their game Wurm Online. In 2007, it was converted into a limited liability company.[2] Later in 2007, Markus Persson stopped developing for Wurm Online and left the company. Since Markus Persson preferred to use the name Mojang himself, Rolf Jansson renamed Mojang Specifications to Onetoofree AB. On October 12, 2011, the company was renamed Code Club AB.
