Singing?

OK - I know he's not a truly gifted "singer" at all, but he has sang a little bit in several of his films, and that fact could be notable here. His singing in Paradise Alley was actually not too bad.PeterMan844 (talk) 07:35, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone or Sylvester Gaudenzio Stallone ?

I searched this in the archive and it appears to have not been discuss thoroughly. These sources appear to support the claim, but I want a second opinion.[1][2][3] Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 23:07, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Snake bgd: You moved the references to the end of the full name, but only the above references have the first name "Michael". I am a relatively new editor here but I am not sure if that is the best move. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 11:35, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The real name of Stallone is Sylvester Gaudenzio Stallone. He never wore the first name Michael. Silvestro (= Sylvester) was the first name of his grandfather, and Gaudenzio was the first name of his brother. Gaudenzio Stallone was the first of the family to emigrate to the United States, in 1913. Silvestro joined him in 1923. Patrub01 (talk) 12:27, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That seems like good logic, but any reliable sources to back it up? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 13:17, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I studied at length the civil status of Gioia del Colle and the New York Passenger Arrival Lists (at Ellis Island). I also consulted the United States Census, the United States Social Security Death Index and the United States Public Records on the Familysearch site. The sources used in the article are unfortunately not all reliable sources. Patrub01 (talk) 14:19, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The US information are primary sources. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 14:43, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I know that. That is why I have not corrected the article. But you have added the first name Michael using some not very reliable sources. It is unfortunate. Patrub01 (talk) 15:42, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
