Just offering a 3rd opinion -- some of each of your edits make sense. "Kansas City Metropolitan area" is easier to read than a lot of wikilinked individual cities. The "KCMI" disambiguator (for the airport) makes sense and should be retained. [[User:Schazjmd|Schazjmd]] ([[User talk:Schazjmd|talk]]) 01:21, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

Right but it says the airport serves Kansas City Missouri , which is true but not people who use the airport are Kansas residents. https://www.kansascity.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/yael-t-abouhalkah/article335222/A-radical-idea-Build-the-new-KCI-in-Johnson-County.html

KMCI Calls ≠ KMCI Airport

Somebody check me on this one, but I see no reason why an independent station in Lawrence would name themselves after an airport in a neighboring state (especially the state that was home to the bushwhackers that burned the town in 1863). As I recall, the owner's name was Miller, and hence Miller Communications, Inc. (or something of that magnitude.) --KHill-LTown 07:41, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. The meaning is being revised. KansasCity 03:19, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did some more research and i found this page: http://www.gatewaycityradio.com/news/local.asp?ID=263 :and this page: http://archive.9news.com/company/bios/hottman.aspx
apparently it was Taunia Hottman, I'll edit the page. Guitarplex (talk) 14:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No anchors or reporter

This station doesn't air news anymore. Thus no reporters or anchors, those listed prior aren't at the station at all or even the sister station which air the news. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.48.16.170 (talk) 17:49, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
