Additional Books

I would like to add the fact that in 2007 with help from his brother Hank Green and his wife, Sarah Green, John Green composed a picture book entitled "Everybody Poops in my Pants" [1]

Category:American Episcopalians should be replaced with the subcategory Category:21st-century American Episcopalians. Additionally, the article seems to be missing the grey lock indicating its semiprotection. Thanks, 142.160.131.202 (talk) 05:54, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In the WRITINGS section, edit the last line "On June 22, 2017, it was announced that Green's fifth solo novel would be entitled Turtles All The Way Down. It was released on October 10, 2017.[47]" Add text so it reads "It was released on October 10, 2017 and debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list."

In the Writing section it reads that: "In late 2013, Green stated that he was writing a new book with the working title The Racket.[44] He sold 5,000 words of a rough draft on IndieGoGo for $10 in order to raise money as part of the Project for Awesome charity event.[4"

This makes is sound like he only sold one sneak peak for $10 when he sold 4,584 of these sneak peaks earning a total of $45,840.

For clarification you might write: "In late 2013, Green stated that he was writing a new book with the working title The Racket.[44] He sold 5,000 words of a rough draft on IndieGoGo for $10 each in order to raise money as part of the Project for Awesome charity event.[4"

Edit Request 9 January 2020

I would like to propose a new subsection beneath Projects for Life's Library. Green founded he Life's Library book club in 2018 with Rosianna Halse Rojas. It is a substantial book club with a sizeable community, and it links to his charity work with Partners in Health Sierra Leone. This is a substantial contribution and I believe it is worth being listed on his wikipedia page. Further details can be found at its website.

The proposed addition is as follows:

Life's Library

In 2018, Green founded the Life's Library book club with Rosianna Halse Rojas. [1][2] The book club reads a book approximately every 6 weeks, with online discussion occurring on the Life's Library Discord. Green and Rojas alternate choosing books, with guest curators occasionally making selections.[3] Life's Library is free to participate in, with paid subscription options available to receive digital or physical subscriptions, containing additional materials such as a discussion podcast, or a version of the book itself. All profits from Life's Library are donated to Partners in Health Sierra Leone to help reduce maternal mortality. [4][5]
