    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here).

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Article was deleted after it was reviewed because a fellow Wikipedia user tagged it as ambiguous and promotion. The article meets the notability guidelines and it is well sourced but needs to be re-written or fixed and I did not have time to do it this week.     Not done – this page was deleted as a blatant advertisement under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion and Wikipedia is not to be used as a vehicle for promotion. This does not necessarily mean a suitable article on this topic cannot be created. If it is a notable topic, e.g., multiple reliable, secondary, published sources that are entirely independent of the subject have written about it in substantive detail (not just mere mentions), then a neutrally written article may be possible. So although Willbb234 has proved use of rudeness here, the user page would actually not support that view, as it was a very nice user page.     Claudia Pulchra Major

    An expired PROD which I missed. It supported a fair number redirects (also now gone) which were referenced from a disambiguation page (Claudia Pulchra (disambiguation)) which then got speedily deleted. All over the holiday weekend when I must have blinked.     I suggest letting the talk page discussion be concluded before restoring. Lithopsian is a novice to the subject at hand and the reason for deletion was sound: there was never a person of that name and the content there is already featured in other wikipedia pages.     FYI, this page has now been recreated as a redirect by the creator of the original PROD request. A redirect may (or may not) be the appropriate results for this title, but its history has been lost and the variety of redirects to it have been speedily-deleted under false pretences.     What false pretenses? I stated clearly what my reasons were, both in the prod and the talk page. The other editor's objection has been addressed awhile ago, and he did not object further, recusing himself apparently. I have painstakingly addressed every one of your spurious objections so far, and you have not offered one single good reason for keeping it after three days of talk. My last reply to you is still waiting to be addressed. It seems you gave up arguing altogether and are now hoping some slander will convince an administrator to hear your pleas.     I tried to export to commons but there are suppressed revisions -- old versions of the icon, which previously was marked as fair use. I cannot easily find what the old versions were but there's a good chance they are also unoriginal and not in copyright like the current one, please decide on that.     2021 International Friendlies

    Firstly, I just wanted to ask... if listing friendlies was such an issue, then why does the article 2021 Three Nations Cup exist? And my reasoning for why it should be brought back is that International Friendlies aren't just guys goofing of playing for fun, this is serious teams playing against each other competitively. It even affects their FIFA World Rankings! I know friendlies can be seen on the countries' results. But what if they aren't looking for a specific team? What if they just want to check out the friendlies. Someone can improve this article but International Friendlies should be an article. When you look up INternational Friendlies you get a lot of TV providers and websites covering the matches. And I know this information and fixtures can be found on a different website, but so is every other article. Do you think no other website covers the 2018 FIFA World Cup?     I'm fairly sure the subject of this deleted page is notable, however the original version of the page was most likely created for promotional reasons. I'd like the page to be restored to my private draft-space so that I can have a look at what was wrong when the page was originally deleted in 2018.     Bihar under Lalu Prasad Yadav

    This page was deleted, though a lot of sources with wide coverage were there for topic. In the discussion one may find the comment of some experienced admin who supported its inclusion in Wikipedia and at the same time stressed that if any issue are there then copyediting is the best choice but a collusion of newly formed WP:SPA made its delition possible, all those account are blocked now as they were found to be WP:MEATPUPPET. Hence, I think its wrong to delete it and inclusion in Wikipedia along with subsequent copyedit by WP:GOCE will be the best way forward as the reason given by nominator (a WP:Sockpuppet was also not worth delition). —Heba Aisha (talk) 04:27, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    Youngblood Brass Band

    I represent Youngblood Brass Band, and you recently deleted the wikipedia page associated with the artist. I'm not quite sure why, since the band is an international touring artist responsible for influencing thousands of musicians around the globe, and is considered one of the most important artists in the field. The band's music has been featured in major television productions (Fargo et al), with 60k monthly listeners on Spotify, nearly half a million annually, and millions of all-time streams. The band's views on YouTube also number in the millions. Youngblood is considered one of most influential, successful groups of this type in the world, they have been touring internationally for more than two decades, and their educational work has been seen/utilized all over the world as well (hundreds of Universities/Colleges/High Schools play Youngblood's music, and many of them teach Youngblood in the curriculum).

    My guess is that there were old citations or unverified quotes or something (no one associated with the artist runs the page), but I am 100% sure that the artist meets the 'notability' criteria. In fact, on Wiki itself, under 'Brass Band', Youngblood is one of the groups mentioned as notable. Also, the disambiguation of the word 'Youngblood' with regard to music brings up 5 names, with Youngblood Brass Band being 2nd or 3rd. Likewise, many lesser-known brass bands cite Youngblood in their Wikipedia page, with some going so far as to list Youngblood in the 'See also' section.

    I'm wondering what can be done to reactivate the page, and if any issues therein can be solved by us, the artist, or contributors.

The core problem is, as you say, there were copyright issues, and the affected revisions have been hidden. I'm sorry, but I can't help you here.
