"The album received praise for bringing a humorous and lighthearted perspective too often violent and profane themes of typical gangsta rap.[1]"
What was the author trying to say here? The "too" is definitely a typo, but it's confusing to the reader if the rap was both humorous and violent, or just humorous, or what. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 40.130.239.4 (talk) 14:41, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
Why does adult actress Cherie DeVille redirect to Coolio?
Is some fan of Coolio trying to increase his page count? The article has nothing to do with her. Bob Mozark (talk) 15:15, 6 May 2020 (UTC) Bob Mozark
9/28/2022 - A possible Internet death hoax
I'm scouring the Internet for Coolio's cause of death after seeing his name in the Wikipedia "2022 deaths' page for this month. I'm thinking there was a mistake considering there was a seal named Coolio at the Pittsburgh Zoo who died, not the rapper. Jason 72 (talk) 01:02, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- It’s not a hoax. Check TMZ. Janers0217 (talk) 01:07, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Died of cardiac arrest according to TMZ if someone wants to throw that in Scxthe (talk) 01:25, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
According to a friend he took two aspirin for a headache just prior to his death. Were they really aspirin?

was known professionally as Coolio instead of known professionally as Coolio Shick.x (talk) 01:48, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Not done: "was known professionally" suggests a newer professional name, not that he is dead. Current wording covers it better Cannolis (talk) 02:06, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
Birthplace
Was he born in Monessen, Pennsylvania or Compton, California? While many news outlets are reporting the former, the California Birth Index has an Artis L Ivey born the same day. 2600:100C:A203:FD7F:809:B2D8:4911:B00D (talk) 02:05, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Was his mom’s maiden name Jones? Janers0217 (talk) 02:59, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
Number of children
There was an edit saying he had ten children. As of right now, the only sources I’ve seen with this number are tabloid publications. Janers0217 (talk) 03:03, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
