Anpanman (Japanese: アンパンマン), is a fictional character created by Takashi Yanase, and the main character of the media franchise of the same name. Initially, he appeared in picture books for Sanrio in fairy tales intended for adults, which took an antithetical view of heroism, though by 1973 Takashi had adapted him for children in Japanese kids magazine キンダーおはなしえほん (English: Kinder Story Picture Book).^[1]^[2]

Description

Anpanman is a superhero who's head is made out of a Japanese filled bun, called Anpan.
