The 2023 Peach Bowl is a college football bowl game that is scheduled to be played on December 30, 2023, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The 56th annual Peach Bowl game will feature two at large bid selections. The game is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN.[2][3] The Peach Bowl will be one of the 2023–24 bowl games concluding the 2023 FBS football season. The game will be sponsored by restaurant chain Chick-fil-A, the game will be officially known as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

Teams

The game will feature the Ole Miss Rebels against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Ole Miss

The Rebels come into this game with a 10–2 record (6–2 SEC), and are led by Lane Kiffin. They have 2 losses, to Alabama 10–24, and to Georgia 52–17. Those came in Week 4 and Week 11 respectively. The Rebels originally would have needed a 3rd loss from Missouri or Penn State to get into a New Year's Six bowl, but since Florida State was left out of the Playoff, the Seminoles took the ACC's bid to the Orange Bowl, which opened up a spot for the Rebels in the Peach Bowl.

Penn State

The Nittany Lions also come into this game with a 10–2 record (7–2 Big 10), and are led by James Franklin. They have 2 losses, to Ohio State 12–20, and to Michigan 15–24. Those came in Week 8 and Week 11 respectively.
