I deleted a reference to http://food.iwm.org.uk/?p=663 from the intro, where it tagged a sentence about rationing during wartime. The article doesn’t really talk about rationing in general all that much and not at all in relation to rock cakes. A quick Web search didn’t turn up a good replacement.
