Malinda Pego is an American politician claiming to serve as the acting chair of the Michigan Republican Party.

Political career

She served as co-chair with Kristina Karamo since their election together in February 2023.[2] A vote at a party meeting on January 6, 2024, claimed to oust Karamo and temporarily replace her with Pego, though Karamo disputes the validity of the meeting and claims to still be in power.[3] As of January 2024, the national GOP website shows the chairperson position as vacant.[4]
