Cricinfo

Hi. Cricinfo have seen this page (good news, perhaps they look at this to help them fix issues) and asked me to pass on a message.

"We have issue for 2 players not duplicate. Cricket archive 2 palyers and pcb also having 2 profile"

Thanks a lot for letting me know about it. I suppose they were referring to Tayyab Abbas... in which case I'm not sure what they mean about CricketArchive because they too have just one profile for the player– which I have used as a reference in the list (can't say about PCB). Additionally, I have checked out YouTube videos (highlights) of different matches featured in the two profiles– and the "Tayyab Abbases" in both places seem to have the same face and the same bowling style ([1] [2], might be geo-restrictions in place). Regarding Mart Tammoja, you have a small mistake which Cricinfo noticed. 515080 was Mario not Mart, so there was only one Mart. There was a duplicate however, but it was 515080 and 568621 (both Mario). They tell me it is fixed, but I still see the duplicate... sometimes it takes a while to refresh. Ah, this is being somewhat of an issue... both the profiles were named Mart when I listed them, but then one got changed to Mario. The original Mario has now become Mart (so two Marts now once again), with the matches in the profiles getting shifted around too. @Bs1jac That is a good question they are asking. I guess I had added Farook Patel's name a very long time ago– seeing that they both played for Transvaal at a similar time period, both have similar names and both appear to be bowlers. I don't have any proof beyond that, and I suppose I'll have no qualms in removing it from the list if ESPNcricinfo also doesn't find out anything else. মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 19:31, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
