How to add a deletion sorting tag?
I've proposed an article for deletion and I came here to find out how I can add it to a deletion sort list. But the page as is doesn't give any instructions. Is there a "how-to" guide somewhere? If so, could it be linked from the project page? If not, could one be written? AncientWalrus (talk) 17:33, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
- The user script User:Enterprisey/delsort is probably the easiest way post-nomination. During the initial nomination, WP:TWINKLE will let you do it. Hope that helps. –Novem Linguae (talk) 20:25, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! It turns out that each deletion sorting topic actually includes a description of how to do it (through https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Deletionlist). Just not the project page. Maybe this template could be added to the project page? AncientWalrus (talk) 20:41, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
- Sure, feel free to WP:BEBOLD. –Novem Linguae (talk) 20:59, 7 October 2023 (UTC)

Lost in the Game (film)
I've nominated Lost in the Game (film) for deletion. See here! Epa101 (talk) 13:38, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
Suggested addition: Sport of athletics
I suggest adding sport of athletics as a WP:DS category. The sport of athletics is one of only three sports-related Level 3 Wikipedia:Vital articles, along with Association football and the Olympic games, both of which already have their own DS categories. Athletics also has its own subject-specific notability guidelines at WP:NATH.
So as not to be confused with Athletics (physical culture), I suggest naming it "Sport of athletics". If there's no opposition, I can create the page myself and add it to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Computer-readable.json. --Habst (talk) 18:11, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
- This should now be complete, with Special:Diff/1205063404, Special:Diff/1205063770, and Special:Diff/1205064190. --Habst (talk) 19:36, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
Could we add climbing to the del sort list
Can we add climbing as a WP:DS category. It is a broad topic that covers rock climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing and competition climbing. I think it would be worth adding? Aszx5000 (talk) 10:20, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Do people think that this request to add climbing to the del sort list is feasible? I almost missed the AfD of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Sherman (climber) which was del sorted into sports people? thanks. Aszx5000 (talk) 14:41, 7 June 2024 (UTC)

South Sudan
Could we add South Sudan (under Geographic/Africa) as a WP:DS category for AfDs such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manyiel Wugol? South Sudan and Sudan are two separate countries. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 02:44, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
