Frank Muramuzi is the executive director of the National Association of Professional Environmentalists in Uganda .[1] National Association of Professional Environmentalists (NAPE) is a registered indigenous environmental NGO that works on a number of environmental issues with a specific focus on lobby and advocacy for sustainable use of natural resources in the area of water and energy to ensure transparency and accountability in development process.[2][3]
Advocacy
Muramuzi has been vocal about issues concerning proper environment management for example in 2021 when he questioned NEMA in Uganda about the efficiency of their national e-waste management plans.[4]
Muramuzi has also advocated for proper management of wetlands in Uganda for example in 2023 he called on the governmen to terminate licenses of entities that were operating in wetlands in Uganda.[5]
