A response by IP 159.101.11.175 to a recent message from Will

I cannot find any indication that the NPOV policy prohibits descriptions of views about the probability of an event happening in the next 24 hours. the claim that people tend to make one prediction may need a citation, but I have never encountered any description of neutrality to which it runs contrary. Feel free to direct me to the text of the policy that you are basing your interpretation on. However, I find it particularly curious that I be accused of not being neutral, given that I almost rewrote the article on the No free lunch theorems to get rid of the creationist prejudice in it, so as to make sure real maths was involved instead. Of course, to be fair, you wouldn't know about that - I just wanted to bring up how odd a message yours came across as. 159.101.11.175 20:31, 13 April 2007

Well, like I said, that's a matter of being in need of citation, not being biased. Either more than 50 % of the relevant people feel that way, or they don't. I'd rather delete all this in an hour's time without you restoring it on grounds of vandalism. Not much chance, though. Funny game, yes. That's why I'm worried about Gridlock. Every time football has ever had an opportunity to get in the way of a show of mine it has done just that.
Addendum: Actually, let me put it another way. No matter how many times I check this page, an orange bar on every Wikipedia page tells me there's been a new message even when there hasn't. It is that, rather than this potential flame war, that's upsetting me. You don't happen to know to stop that, do you? I wouldn't be able to use Wikipedia again on this computer if I had to put up with it. I'd rather rely on its clone at Answers.com, then slowly adapt to its awful graphics. 159.101.11.175 21:51, 13 April 2007

YO, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I REALLY REALLY WANT

Yes, but we have In-N-Out.
...good job, I want one now. *note sarcasm* Øřêōş 21:29, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Admin coaching

Hullo, Sceptre. You are a coach on Admin Coaching, am I correct? Well, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to be my coach..I'll appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Cheers! Zacharycrimsonwolf 13:14, 14 November 2006 (UTC) 05:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I should start watching Dr Who, seems to be very helpful with the sock-whacking :) Cheers, Moreschi Want some help? Ask! 12:58, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Jeepers creepers, you're obsessed :) Some mail, by the way. Cheers, Moreschi Want some help? Ask! 13:13, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Evil of the Daleks

If you like Dalek stories, you should buy the soundtrack of this one. It's one of the best Doctor Who stories ever made. GusF 15:46, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hazmats

I know what it's getting at, but not only are those costumes "hazmat suits", but the word hazmat is just speculation: it could equally be a gas mask or a spacesuit. Unless the BBC have used the word, it shouldn't be there. Regards,--Rambutan (talk) 15:07, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Mail

I get notifications when I receive mail and I check it frequently, like most people do. I will see it in time and I don't need updates on my talk page, thank you. It gives me unnecessary orange bars and interrupts what I am doing. — Editor at Large(speak) 22:10, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage

Hey Will, just to let you know I decided to delet the userpage you created for me. Thanks for the thought, and its nothing personal, I just really like the red link! Man, not havein' it was killing me! But I really liked the image you found, and I'm using it on my new redesigned minimalist talk page. Check it out if you want - I'd love to hear what you think of it. Thank you! Think outside the box 11:46, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dating of Smith and Jones

I can see where you are coming and will agree to leave it for now, although 'if' by the end of the series it still fits in cannon with every other date given then i'd like to put it back, although a good test for it would be to wait until the last two episodes (which are suppost to be set after the Christmas episode) and see what date it says on the blog, or even if there is one at all. Thanks--Wiggstar69 14:33, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have you ever considered putting {{User:Sceptre/music}} on Sharon's Soundtrack instead of [[User:Sceptre/music]]? —  $PЯINGrαgђ  14:21, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still, the reversal is embarrassing. That's why I did the blush. ;) —  $PЯINGrαgђ  18:11, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sceptre, regarding that change... looks good, having divs in the headers struck me as not so good but I never bothered to fix it when I copied from the first page to make the next, and I suspect others did not as well. Would you consider doing the same to the rest of the pages (the books, tv, movies, etc)?? Thanks! The complete list can be found at User:Lar/Wikipedian navbox which lets one move from one to the other and is transcluded in all. ++Lar: t/c 12:10, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to let you know that you added your oppose vote in the support section. If that wasn't your intent, you might want to fix it. :) Rockstar (T/C) 05:26, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
