Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School is a digital school, designed as an alternative to traditional public and private schools. It recently changed its name from Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. It is also known as PA Cyber.

The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (PA Cyber) makes accredited curricula available to its students any time, any place, at any pace. PA Cyber offers students in grades K – 12 a variety of curricula options and a choice between synchronous and asynchronous modes of delivery. Every PA Cyber student receives a custom designed course of study to meet his or her individual needs and abilities. Parents, along with their child’s instructional supervisor, play a vital role in the school by keeping the student on task, motivated, and challenged. As a public school, PA Cyber provides services at no cost to students and families.

PA Cyber Chat

On November 5th, 2006 PA Cyber Chat was formed by a student for all other PA Cyber Students. Quickly gaining popularity, PA Cyber Chat now has over 200 PA Cyber & BOSS Members. The discussion board is unofficial; the school is not involved. There are mulitple activities such as a "ChatBox", or private Chat Room, for members to talk to each other. There are 3 administrators/managers of the fourum, who are all in PA Cyber. In order to join PA Cyber Chat, the student must have his or her school ID and username. Then, administrators check the school ID to make sure it is valid.
