Info Welcome to my talk. I am on an indefinite Wikibreak, it could last days, weeks, months or forever. Please leave me a message and I will get back to you if/when I return. My email is available here

OK, thanks, and my apologies. I was probably being over-sensitive. I will continue to contribute to topics I know about, but will stay away from images. Chwyatt 10:09, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This image never was placed inline in any article. It's essentially a form and wouldn't be readable inline. It is, and has since it's upload, been linked to by the Elton John article primarily to show that Elton John's middle name is Hercules. --Oldak Quill 09:19, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for pointing out the fair use rationale. I have added a historical photograph rationale. LordHarris 12:04, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

July 2007 GAC backlog elimination drive

A new elimination drive of the backlog at Wikipedia:Good article candidates will take place from the month of July through August 12, 2007. There are currently about 130 articles that need to be reviewed right now. If you are interested in helping with the drive, then please visit Wikipedia:Good article candidates backlog elimination drive and record the articles that you have reviewed. Awards will be given based on the number of reviews completed. Since the potential amount of reviewers may significantly increase, please make sure to add :{{GAReview}} underneath the article you are reviewing to ensure that only one person is reviewing each article. Additionally, the GA criteria may have been modified since your last review, so look over the criteria again to help you to determine if a candidate is GA-worthy. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the drive's talk page. Please help to eradicate the backlog to cut down on the waiting time for articles to be reviewed.

You have received this message either due to your membership with WikiProject: Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. --Nehrams2020 23:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Fleet Review Trafalgar 200.jpg

I have now added a discussion to the Royal Navy article under Fleet reviews that needs the picture in order to be viable. The picture shows the contrast in size between the carriers and is needed in the article in my opinion. Is the discussion enough to warrant a stay of execution or a reprieve? Thanks Woodym555 17:51, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ronald Reagan GA Nomination withdrawal

Can you tell me about this edit. The article was recently rated as A class while I am not sure it would pass at WP:GAC. What caused the withdrawal?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 01:17, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Email.

If you did, I don't recall it - but I get a lot of email, so maybe it got lost. Could you please resend? Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 04:24, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your image deletion nominations

While glancing through recent IfDs I found your name appeared prominently. You have nominated a bunch of images for deletion but in all cases you have missed the step of adding notifications to the image captions, this is especially important when nominating half of the images from a featured article for deletion.--Konstable 14:06, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll consider doing that on these cases. There's the downside of having too many "I Like it!" votes, and users getting upset about how the closing admin didn't "count the votes" correctly... but in some cases where an article's expansion could save the image (like the current Einstein-tongue debate) , it's worth doing. Thanks! --Abu badali (talk) 14:15, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
