Introduction

A simple sketch of tube well.

Tube well is type of water well in which a long 5 to 8 inch wide stainless steel tube is inserted in the well.This tube is then extended to the underground water below the lower surface of the well.

Temporary Reservoir

In the villages of pakistan ,a small reservoir of water is made at the outlet of the tube well ,which is used to have a bath and also for recraetional purposes.Children enjoy very much by such type of bath

The tube is connected to a pump which is driven by the large desil engines in the past but now electric motors are being used indtead of engines.This is much cheaper source of power.
