@task is developed by AtTask, Inc.[2] In 2006, AtTask released @task 4, featuring a redesigned user interface, cross-project integration, new export file formats, PDF output for Gantt charts, and an integrated help system.[3] In June 2007, AtTask launched @Task for iPhone, which allows users to remotely track and collaborate on projects.[4]

@task provides dashboards, portals, and reports that users can customize by choosing from a list of pre-defined options. @task uses a system of tabs to organize elements and allows users to add, subtract, and reorder them. @task also includes standard reports for project management and accounting, such as quarterly management reports, milestone reports, and critical path projections. The software supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, and Japanese.
