Townsville State High School Townsville State High School, Also known as Town High Established in 1924, Townsville state High School is located at 36-64 Boundary St, Railway Estate, QLD. Also formerly located at the current TAFE campus in Townsville. There are 5 reefs at Town High, they are -

Warrior - Blue [br]Keeper - Pink [br]Faraday - Yellow [br]Brewer - Red [br]Needle - Green

These reefs are named after reefs of the QLD coast.

The principal of Townsville state high school is currently Scott Stewart who took over from Ian Smythe who is currently the Chief Executive for the Townsville Crocodiles.

Town High is known for its Basketball program called the Town High Tropics. Town High has been involved in many programs such as jump rope for heart, clean up Australia day, Optiminds, young diplomats program, ANZAC day march, shave for a cure, New Zealand ski trip, star struck, Inspiring young Australians, CREST, Japan tour and hosting with the sister school Matsudo Mabashi as well as an "Energy Farm" that helps supply energy to the library.
