Hora Marcada

Hora Marcada was a TV show here in México much in the vein of the Twilight Zone, Guillermo directed a few of episodes (don't know actually how many), but I think Geometria (1987) and Doña Lupe (1985) are from that show. Sadly, I have no valid source to confirm this.

Santiago Segura

I'd like to add the fact that he likes to cast Spanish actor Santiago Segura on his movies in a small part, but I can't seem to find a link with info on this... any help? Vicco Lizcano 15:59, 16 February 2007 (UTC) (Tell me where I'm wrong)[reply]

Academy Award?

Exactly what Academy Award has del Toro won? I don't remember him winning any. As a matter of fact, I don't remember him being nominated (except obviously, that you're talking about his films).Vicco Lizcano 19:25, 15 March 2007 (UTC) (Tell me where I'm wrong)[reply]

Umm...how is he categorized under Mexican Roman Catholics when he is a self-described Pagan

I suspect because he was Baptized Catholic and in the eyes of the Church he is still Catholic unless he is excommunicated. I've also heard him say 'once a Catholic always a Catholic' 24.6.255.112 (talk) 02:26, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Residence

The current version (that says just "he lives in California") looks good to me. I just removed the earlier residence part because we didn't need to be quite that specific. - Jredmond (talk) 23:33, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deathly Hallows

I've commented out the Deathly Hallows entry in "Possible future projects" (rather than completely removing it).

The Harry Potter films are, more than any other property, like a conveyer belt delivering films at timed intervals. This is because of the age of the actors and the parts they play--it is unlikely that the actors could credibly play mid-teens far into their twenties. For this reason, Deathly Hallows is scheduled for 2010 release. Since del Toro is in advanced negotiations to taken on major Tolkien-related projects, it would be impossible for him to take on the commitment. David Heyman has told Hollywood Reporter that del Toro is "too busy" and that's obviously an understatement.

Projects he turned down to direct

How does this section help improve the article? I don't see how. I suggest we remove it, so I posted here so anyone can defend its inclusion or promote its deletion.Vicco Lizcano (talk) 14:35, 6 May 2008 (UTC) (Hey! Listen!)[reply]
