I live in the west part of Germany in a small town near Aachen. I work as a software engineer in a company called Synopsys, developing electronic design automation software. I have a home page. It contains freeware games and Winboard adapter, which I created for Zillions of Games engine.

I can be often found on BrainKing.com internet server, playing chess, loop chess, gothic chess, dark chess as well as backgammon. My user name is "andreas" there.
