Arriva Midlands East
Arriva Fox County is a bus company operating in Leicester and Leicestershire. It was formed in 1981, as Midland Red East with the breakup of the old Midland Red bus company, and then became known as Midland Fox in 1984. It is now part of Arriva Midlands.
Arriva Fox County run services across the Leicester area plus services to/from Loughborough, Coalville, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, and Burton upon Trent.
In Leicester, Arriva run most of its services from St. Margaret's Bus Station with some journeys commencing/terminating in Charles Street. Other bus services use the Haymarket Bus Station, Haymarket/Belgrave Gate (for High Street services) and Humberstone Gate as its main city centre stops.
Arriva has depots in Leicester, Coalville, South Wigston, Hinckley and Swadlincote (which is used for the X2 plus 217 & 218 Sunday services)
In late 2006, a new "Leicester Linx" brand was introduced for services in Leicester.

Services 6, 27, 28, 28A, 28B, 31, 31A, 44, 44A, 47, 48, 49, 49A, 84, 84A, 85, 127, 152 and 153 have been fitted with Star Trak, which tells you when the next bus arrives at your bus stop.
Service Changes
The following changes will take place in Leicester City Centre from Sunday 31st August 2008;
Following the opening of the Highcross Centre there were some changes to bus services and stops. These were as follows:
Services 5/5A: Leicester - Syston - East Goscote - Melton Mowbray
Minor timetable changes at school times and Monday to Friday peak periods. The schoolday services 5B and 5C will no longer operate, however service 5A continues to provide a regular service throughout the day to Melton Mowbray.
Service 6: Leicester - Thurmaston - Syston
Minor timetable changes during Monday to Friday peak times.
Service 15: Leicester - Thorpe Astley - Fosse Park
Service now departs from St. Peter's Lane Stand A1, and also picks up on Causeway Lane Stand A6 outside the new Highcross Centre.
Services 31/31A: Leicester - London Road - Oadby Grange / Coombe Rise
Minor timetable changes Monday to Saturday.
Services 44/44A: Leicester - Queens Road - Knighton
Minor timetable changes Monday to Saturday.
Services 47/48: Leicester - South Wigston / Wigston Magna
Minor timetable changes Monday to Saturday.
Services 49/49A: Leicester - Wigston Magna - Wigston Harcourt / South Wigston
Minor timetable changes Monday to Saturday. Service 49A will be rerouted in South Wigston along Blaby Road in both directions with a turning pointat the Tesco Island, no longer serving Countesthorpe Road or Lansdowne Grove.

Services now departs from Causeway Lane Stand A4 right outside the new Highcross Centre.

The Leicester Plusbus ticket must be purchased from any railway station as part of your train ticket. It allows unlimited travel in a designated area (see plusbus website) for the vallidity of the ticket. The plusbus ticket is always cheaper than a conventional bus fare.

Stop-Hop
An offer available for passengers who want to make a connection between St. Margaret's Bus Station and Haymarket, where passengers are able to use their valid tickets on services 152, 153 and 158 from St Margaret's to Haymarket for free.
