Big Helmet is the meaning of the Polish name only, in Czech and German the mountain is called High Wheel or High Circle (I'm not English and I don't know which translation is correct)

The Czechs call the nearby Śmielec 'Velky Sisak' so it seems likely that someone Polish confused these two mountains while giving them official Polish names, and so it stayed. [my Polish wiki-profile] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.143.166.36 (talk) 01:01, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
