Cam Joslin Gigandet (Template:PronEng;[1] born August 16, 1982) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as Kevin Volchok on the FOX TV series The O.C., as well as James in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's book, Twilight. Some of his other television credits include The Young and the Restless, Jack & Bobby, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Biography
Gigandet was born in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from Auburn Senior High School Auburn, WA in 2001. He first appeared on television in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2003. He guest starred in the fourth season of the series as Mark Young. He has also starred in the film "Mistaken," which debuted in 2004, Who's Your Caddy? in 2007, and Never Back Down in 2008.
Gigandet played James - a villain vampire - in the movie Twilight, based on the best-selling novel by Stephenie Meyer.[2]
In his spare time, Gigandet enjoys movies, basketball, golf, skiing, surfing, and is trained in krav maga.
