David Tavaré

David Tavaré (1982, Pollenca, Majorca) is a Spanish singer.[1]

Biography

David Tavare was born in 1982 in Pollenca, Majorca.[1] He is the son of a legendary Spanish guitar player. Two of his uncles are English comedian Jim Tavare and former England Test cricketer Chris Tavare.

David and was brought up on this holiday island and the closeness to the sea, the sun and the Mediterranean way of life inspired him. David had always dreamed of being a singer. And then that day when he saw Operacion Triunfo, the Spanish version of Pop Idol on TV, he knew: “This is what I want, I want to sing on a stage”. The finalist of the successful TV-Show, DavidBustamante personally, was his singing teacher. David was singing his songs just for himself when he was drifting ontothe open sea in his sailing boat but due to his good looks and amazing singing talent he was soon performing in front of huge audiences.

Music career

David's first big hit was "Summerlove" had already been the secret soundtrack for many holiday memories. From Portugal to Greece, vacationers had their cocktails or danced in discotheques to this catchy tune. David Tavare has made "Summerlove" (also known as "Remember") to a real hit in the international radio play lists.

"Summerlove" was produced by Spanish star producer Luis Rodriguez together with Martin Neumayer and DJ Maurice. With cool chill out beats, longing romance and a sexy dash of Latin flavor, accompanied by a seductive video clip directed by Thierry Vergnes, recorded in a gorgeous beach club in the Caribbean, the song definitely heats up the summer 2006.

David Tavare is en-route for the Disco Estrella Tour Spain, 40 Principales Spain, World Dance Music Festival Sevilla and the Miami Latin Music Festival.

"Hot Summer Night (Oh La La La)" was his second song, featuring 2 Eivissa, released first in July 2007 in Spain, where it was a top two hit, then twelve months later in France where it was so successful, becoming one of the summer hits.

David Tavaré is going to release his first studio album "La vida viene y va" on November 24[2]. The next single after "Hot Summer Night" is "Call Me Baby (If You Don't Know My Name)". The music video has been released in Novemeber 2008
