Christopher Dorsey (born September 3 1980), better known by his stage name B.G. (Baby Gangsta), is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana.[1]

Biography

B.G. grew to popularity as part of the Cash Money Records clique, a Hip-Hop label and collective based out of New Orleans. Under the tutelage of Bryan "Baby" Williams (aka Birdman) and Byron Thomas (aka Mannie Fresh), the pioneers of Cash Money records, B.G. began his rap career at a young age. Along with Juvenile, Turk, and Lil Wayne, he became part of the hip-hop group Hot Boys, who spawned several hits over the late 1990's and early 2000's. B.G. is perhaps best known for his song "Bling-Bling" which went on to become a popular phrase throughout the late 90's and thereafter.
