Mikey is a horror film released in 1992 directed by Dennis Dimster and starring Brian Bonsall. The film centers around the character of Mikey, a young boy who is adopted by a family after his original parents die. However Mikey may not be the darling child they expected. Mikey turns out to be a murderous psychopath who hides his true intentions and by the end of the film he murders all but two of the principle cast then fakes his death so that no one would find him, only to be adopted by another family.

Following the James Bulger case and on the advice of three child psychiatrists the film was rejected for a UK video certificate in 1996 by the BBFC. The film still remains banned in the UK to this day.
