Patricia Cloherty

Patricia Cloherty is a venture capitalist who is Chairman and CEO of Delta Private Equity Partners.[1] Delta Private Equity Partners managed The U.S. Russia Investment Fund to which Cloherty was appointed as a board member by President Bill Clinton in 1994.[citation needed]


Earlier in her career[when?] Cloherty was General Partner of Apax Partners, Inc., a private venture capital company that she joined in 1970.[1] She is a trustee of International House,[1] Teachers College, Columbia University,[1] the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation,[citation needed] and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.[1] She served in the Peace Corps in Brazil from 1963 through 1965.[1]

In April 2009, Cloherty was elected to the Board of Directors of NYSE Euronext.[1]
