Stämpfli Express
The Stampfli Express (sometimes known as the Stampfli 24) is a rowing boat for 24 rowers and coxswain made by Swiss manufacturer Stampfli. The boat can be rigged for either 24 scullers or for 16 scullers and 8 sweep rowers.
At the 2001 World Championships in Lucerne, Switzerland an attempt was made to break the 2,000 m world record. However, the crew failed to beat the then record of 5 min 22 sec held by the Dutch Men's 8+.

Stampfli Express → Stämpfli — The correct spelling of Stämpfli has the a-umlaut. Writing Stampfli is incorrect, thus the page should be moved. —Qualalol (talk) 20:33, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
