UCF Knights Baseball |
Jay Bergman Field is a baseball stadium located on the main campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, USA. The stadium serves as the home of the UCF Knights baseball team.
It was originally built in 2001 as a state of the art facility, featuring an indoor training facility with three batting cages and two pitching mounds. The facility was named after the former head coach of the team, Jay Bergman. However, UCF relieved Jay Bergman of his duties on May 1, 2008 for alleged harassment towards an equipment manager. It is unknown at this time whether UCF will retain Jay Bergman's name on the stadium. The stadium is set to undergo renovations in to add 4,000 seats along with 9 new luxury suites.
