Kieran Trippier (born 19 September 1990 in Bury) is an English professional footballer currently playing for Barnsley on loan from Manchester City.

Manchester City

Trippier came through the ranks at Eastlands and signed professional terms for City in 2008. He is a regular in the City's reserve side and won the F.A. Youth Cup in the 2007/08 season.

Loans to Barnsley

Trippier made a loan move to Barnsley in February 2010 [1] and made three appearances in a month loan spell at Oakwell, making his debut at the Riverside Stadium when Barnsley lost to Middlesbrough.

He returned to Barnsley for a second spell in August 2010, with the loan deal this time running until January.

International career

Trippier played for England U20 in the 2009 under-20 World Cup.
