"Offense" is a seventh season episode of the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Plot summary

Carla said that she got raped by at least 1 of the Newell College Football Players. Carla also said that she got raped in the boys' dormitory. Carla said that her friend was a witness. Carla's fiance is a janitor at the Newell College. The prosecutor's Mr. Hoyle. Mr. Hoyle's in his office because he's getting interviewed. Mr. Hoyle's wife's Beth. Carla's friend isn't here yet. Beth orders Mr. Gates to go to Carla's friend's apartment, so he can pick up Carla's friend. When Mr. Gates enters the apartment building, he finds Carla's friend dead. Somebody pushed Carla's down the stairs.

Detectives Logan and Falacci go to the crime scene. When they interrogate the Football Players, they realize that the players didn't kill Carla's friend. Questions is who killed Carla's friend.
