Hi! My name is Alan Marshall, Marshall meaning "Hall of Mars the God of War", (= Valhalla), and my mother's maiden name was Marsden, which means the same. Hence Valhalan.

I've only just gotten round to creating an account, but in the past I've made many contributions, mainly my overhauling of the Butch Cassidy page on 22 Dec 2005 (02.03 hrs) when I was at 204.9.11.123 and the Etta Place page at around the same time, and many smaller contributions such as to the Kennedy Curse page on 29 Nov 2010 (01.14 hrs) from 63.230.25.213.

In my life I've been a math teacher, a computer programmer, a consultant in a staff bureau, a writer, a researcher and a ceramicist (potter). I live in North America.
