Just Go with It, originally titled Pretend Wife, is a romantic comedy film starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Other stars include Nicole Kidman, fashion model Brooklyn Decker, and musician Dave Matthews. Allan Loeb and Timothy Dowling wrote the script and Dennis Dugan, who has collaborated with Sandler on most of his films such as Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, You Don't Mess with the Zohan and Grown Ups served as director.[2]

The film is based on the 1969 film, Cactus Flower[3], which was dapted from an earlier Broadway stage play, written by Abe Burrows, which in turn was based upon the French play Fleur de cactus. The film will be produced under Sandler's production company Happy Madison and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures.[4]

This is also the sixth film that Dugan has directed Sandler.

It was shot in Los Angeles and the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Kauai between March 2, 2010, and May 25, 2010.[citation needed]

Plot

Danny (Adam Sandler) is a successful plastic surgeon who pretends to be unhappily married to get women. When he finally meets a girl (Brooklyn Decker) he believes to be the woman of his dreams, he doesn't use his method on her, but she soon finds the wedding band he uses. Afraid of telling her the truth, he tells her he's getting a divorce, to which she requests to meet his soon-to-be ex. He asks his office manager Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to pose as his wife in order to prove his story, but one lie turns into another that brings Katherine's children into his scheme, resulting in a trip to Hawaii that will change all their lives.
