Importance

This is a legit article, the singer is featured on this week's "All Songs Considered" by NPR (I went to this site to get some background once I saw it). It just needs to be expanded. I removed the reference and changed it to a stub.--Fresh 21:07, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merger with Shara Worden

As an example, "Zach Cordon" redirects to "Beirut_(band)" which is practically a biography page Zach Cordon including his early life etc.76.118.183.136 (talk) 00:05, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I second this suggestion, although I would recommend merging My Brightest Diamond into the Shara Worden article rather than the other way around. AwRy was a solo project (she toured as AwRy without a backing band), so it would not fit into the My Brightest Diamond article. Looking at articles on Samuel Beam (under Iron & Wine) and Zachary Francis Condon (under Beirut, where his side projects Realpeople and 1971 are also mentioned), Bat for lashes and a couple of other random selections from | this list of one person bands, I think the wikipedia standard has evolved to the use of the most famous band article as "the umbrella".
