IBS Group Holding Ltd. (IBSG:DE) Founded in 1992 In Moscow, Russia, IBS Group provides IT services, Software Development Worldwide. Throughout its 18-year history, the Group has been setting benchmarks in the Russian IT industry (for example by establishing amongst the first SAP and Oracle based Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) practices in Russia).The Company believes that also the Online Software Delivery segment (the “Online Software Delivery”) is one of market niches which plays important role in delivering software product directly to clients through Online store.[2][3][4][5]

IT Services

IBS IT is one of the Groups subsidiary companies which majors in providing IT services to large and medium-sized Russian and CIS customers and government agencies. It designs and implements IT solutions for clients designed to increase the efficiency and transparency of their business. Through its consulting business line, the Group provides consulting services to analyze the clients' business processes and advise on how a client's IT system should be designed. The Group's management information systems business line designs, customizes and provides software and IT infrastructure. The Group’s IT infrastructure business line provides design, delivery and supply of computer platforms, networking equipment and data storage systems. For clients who want to outsource all or part of their IT, the IT outsourcing business line provides outsourced IT solutions to support and service clients' software and hardware needs. The IT Services segment of the Group generated revenues from external customers of USD 309.2 Million in the year ended 31 March 2010. [6]

Software Development

Luxoft is the other company of the IBS Group, Luxoft majors in providing Software Development segment's where primary activity is to undertake complex software development projects for corporate clients, mainly in Western Europe, the US and, to a lesser extent, Russia. The Group focuses on development of customized, sophisticated software in areas requiring a tailored approach. Such services are performed by teams of programmers located at offshore development centers or at the customer site. The Group delivers specific solutions for various industries, including aviation, finance and banking, IT and others. The Software Development segment of the Group generated revenues from external customers of USD 147.9 Million in the year ended 31 March 2010.[6][5]

Online Software Delivery

Soft Key is the other subsidiary of IBS Group, with core activity in Online Software Delivery segment including digital software commerce, internet distribution, order processing and payment handling as well as market promotion. The Online Software Delivery segment of the Group generated revenues from external customers of USD 46.3 Million in the year ended 31 March 2010. The Company currently evaluates to reduce its stake in the Online Software Delivery segment to below 50% and to bring in a strategic partner.[6]

Expansion of Global Delivery

In August 2010, IBS Group opened its new technical development center in the UK. The Development center has been set up to provide product implementation services for larger telecom equipment vendors. Also the IBS Group is currently in the process of establishing new development centers in Poland and Singapore. Today IBS Group has its offices in the following countries: Russia, the USA, Germany, the UK, Canada, Switzerland, Ukraine, Vietnam, Romania.

Clients

The client database of IBS Group consists of more than 825 (for FY 2010) customers globally and covers a variety of industries such as Finance, Aerospace & Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Telecom. Groups biggest clients include Deutsche Bank, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup Inc., The Boeing Company, AirData, IBM, DELL, Caterpillar Inc., AVAYA. Thirty-six of Russia’s TOP-50 companies are customers of IBS Group.

2009 The Group divested its hardware manufacturing segment (Depo) in September 2009.
2008 Luxoft acquired ITC Networks Group and expanded its expertise and customer base.
2007 IBS SI Ltd. acquired the Russian IT company group "Borlas". The global depositary receipts were included for trading in the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
2006 Luxoft acquired New York-based IT Consulting International (ITCI), an IT outsourcing company. The Group acquired the online software delivery business "Softkey".
2005 Luxoft established its first development center outside of Russia, in Kiev, Ukraine. The Group completed a private placement of 7,029,500 ordinary shares in the form of global depositary receipts.
2004 Depo became the number one manufacturer of PCs in Russia by the number of units sold.
2003 The Group started hardware manufacturing under the Depo brand to gradually replace the hardware distribution business. Luxoft obtained Capability Maturity Model ("CMM") and Capability Maturity Model Integration ("CMMI") level 5 quality certificates.
2002 IBS began promoting IT outsourcing services under the Data Fort brand. The Group obtained long-term financing from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
2001 Luxoft opened a sales office in the United States.
2000 The Group established Luxoft to provide software development services. IBS became a Golden Partner of Cisco and a Local Alliance Partner of SAP.
1998 IBS started its SAP R/3 business.
1997 IBS signed a contract with British Petroleum for the automation of British Petroleum gas stations in Russia. AIG-Brunswick funds invested in the Group.
1996 The Group became the exclusive distributor in Russia for the Dell Computer Corporation.
1995 The Group started hardware distribution through its subsidiary Dealine.
1994 The Group started to provide systems integration services.
1992 Information Business Systems Company, now referred to as OAO IBS IT Services (within this History overview "IBS"), was established on 2 November 1992.
