Warwick (company)
Warwick is a bass guitar company founded in Germany in 1982. The Warwick bass guitar is well known in the bass playing community for its exotic woods, signature growl, and solid performance.

Also legendary and established players like Jack Bruce of Cream and the late John Entwistle of The Who have played and endorsed Warwick basses in recent years; in fact both players have custom-made signature models made by Warwick: Bruce has the Jack Bruce custom and Entwistle the LTD Buzzard; in 2005, Warwick introduced the John Entwistle Stryker, a replica of his custom design bass during his Who days, and the Jack Bruce Limited Edition "Cream Reunion" bass, based on his original Gibson EB3 bass, which he used on the recent Cream reunion shows.
Though known in high-end bass circles for years, it has become hopeful legend that pre-1998 Warwicks had a better sound than current production basses. In fact, wood selection, aging, improved electronics and tooling improvements have made current Wariwck basses better with each passing year.
Warwick offers more than 20 high-end bass models ranging in price from $1000 to over $7,000 (2006 pricing). In 2002, Warwick introduced the RockBass line which offered a low-cost alternative to several of their most popular high-end lines (Corvette, Streamer, Fortress, and Vampyre).
Warwick also have a range of bass amplifiers, althoguh they are much less known about than their bass guitar counterparts.
