Help Please
Good afternoon, I was asked to revisit a page (Simone Star née: Simone T Taylor, Detroit, MI) that was in the process of being created several years ago. The article will need to be completely rewritten, however I read the following:
"A page with this title has previously been deleted. If you are creating a new page with different content..."
- further: "23:36, 26 October 2008 Stwalkerster (talk | contribs) deleted page Simone Star - (Expired PROD, concern was: non notable band. lacks outside sources. Mama Spiritual not an important label. - Correct Use Of Techno not by Simone Star. claim of award not sourced)"
A lot has changed over the years - sources were available but not included (my fault); and more sources are available now as well. The message stated to contact you prior to resuming the editing process, and, if I'm reading it correctly, asks for sources:
Recent awards include #1 in the Punk category: Ourstage.com - as well as consistently finishing in either the Top 10 or Top 40 throughout 2012.
Another recent series of awards were from Brevard Live as Best Original Band, Favorite Keyboard Player & Ambassador of the year (as Simone & The Supercats). 2012
This link on p9 will also verify that as Simone and The Supercats, she was voted Best Original Band the year prior (2011).
Other sources related to her role in the band 'Teknotika' include MusicBrainz listing for her work on Rio Mania, 2005 as Simone Star AS Gigi Galaxy. More of her work is found here: MusicBrainz - credited again as Gigi Galaxy.
A significant contributor to technology programs, Simone is the only known independent musician actively endorsed by the CD Recycling Center of America
A great review from the respected Steve Gilmore may be found here.
A nice write up on Simone with the Supercats is found here. And another one from the Tampa Examiner is The Examiner.com /article/8-21-concert
> Mama Spiritual is not a significant label - it is her own indie publishing label via ASCAP. Mama Spiritual Music. She also is listed as Simone Tamar McReynolds on ASCAP as well.
I hope that I have been able to clarify this article and I look forward to your response. If I have overlooked anything, please do let me know. I am a novice at this process. Thank you in advance for your guidance and support,
