Population in the sidebar is that of the district, not that of the town. Can somebody get the actual figure? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.124.247.137 (talk) 05:14, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I was wondering about that too. If a place had a population of 2 million + I would not call it a town. BurtAlert (talk) 05:27, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
Total Rewriting Needed
This article needs a total rewriting. Most of the content is about the district Alappuzha. But this article is about Alappuzha city. Is here anyone who really watches this page? - 17:51, 10 April 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karyasthan Raman Nair (talk • contribs)
Yes sir i watch this page, any suggestions or help will be really appreciated blockbuster 15:51, 29 April 2012 (UTC)tojo thomas
- I agree with the above. From the "Etymology" section onwards, the article talks about "Alappuzha District" rather than "Alappuzha City" or "Alappuzha municipality". This should be rewritten.
Writing style
The writing is breathless, fitting for tourist brochures, but not for an encyclopedia. This requires rewriting. I've done some of this, but more is needed.Fconaway (talk) 23:21, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
