Sharon Shinn (born 1957) is an American Novelist of books that combine the genres of fantasy, science fiction and romance. She works as a journalist in St. Louis.

She has won the following awards:

  • William Crawford Award for Achievement in Fantasy
  • IAFA Fantasy Award (1996)
  • Dell Award for best new science fiction writer of 1995/1996

Her authored books are as follows:

Shinn also contributed a novella entitled Fallen Angel to the collection To Weave a Web of Magic. Claire Delacroix, Lynn Kurland, and Patricia A. McKillip were the other contributors.
