This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/i/i/iigowise.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:42, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WAGR locos

Hey it would be really good to try get a standard/template for various classes for the old WAGR locos (i do have better images than my xa B&W Jpeg somewhere) it would be good to have some consistency with other oz states articles for similar arts -what do you think? SatuSuro 12:48, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

also

I would be reluctant to place every class as they existed to a see also to a history of wa rail transport - it would be better to have either a list of the histroic classes that could be the main link - rather than the main history article - otherwise it will end up a real mess SatuSuro 12:53, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to start a list first - fumbling with it a bit - my x class photos will be delayed - i am interstate from ym home at the moment SatuSuro 13:04, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The new south wales article has a template for current running rolling stock - not sure what the other states have to allow for discontinued scrapped locos and rollign stock SatuSuro 13:06, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Info box

check out australian standard garratt - a good standard i think we need to aspire to - imho - i think we need off web info for reasonable sources as well - also I am not ahppy wit current categories - any ideas from your end ?SatuSuro 03:24, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi :) If you don't intend to have the uploaded items from August-September restored, you're free to remove the notices from your talk page... I realise most people don't know they're allowed to :) If you want them restored and have the source details to meet WP:NFCC, let me know. Orderinchaos 14:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A question regarding the Oldham, Ashton and Guide Bridge Railway. I work for Oldham Council Highways and we are decommissioning a former railway underbridge by underfilling. We are looking to retain and restore one of the steel parapets. My question is would anyone know of the original railway company's colour scheme for painting of bridges and structures? Many thanks.Waltonhighschoolphoto82 (talk) 07:04, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice

Hi,

As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.

We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.

You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.

We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

My concern is that a cropped photogrph of a 2 dimensional object gives no copyright to the photographer that would allow you to release the copyright either to the public domain or under a free license. (See Bridgeman v. Corel) In this cas, the underlying copyright of the plaque is likely held by the local council who paid for the plaque. And a license by the actual copyright holder or else a treatment of the image as fair use is needed.--BirgitteSB 20:10, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sir Barnes Wallis

As a native speaker of English, could you please tell me what is the correct spelling of "Wallis".

Thanks in advance. ND 21:05, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 02:13, 18 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks for your edits, but please remember to use edit summaries. Thank you. – ukexpat (talk) 14:49, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Siemens Brothers

Many thanks for your kind message. Perhaps you should cast a more critical eye over what I've done. Its not yet finished and also I have arranged for a copy of a book to be sent to me which may tell more. It is Siemens Brothers, 1858-1958: An Essay in the History of Industry by John Dick Scott. I've still got a few conflicts within the info I've gathered and maybe that book will clear them up. I'm sincere about you doing an edit. Best wishes, Eddaido (talk) 06:31, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Desmond Dickinson may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
