Roster of Teams
Thanks for adding the list of teams!
The definitive book on the USFL, The $3 League, would be a good reference. Rlquall 15:38, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
But why did it fold?
I don't think the article in the current state is completely clear on what lead to the sudden decision to fold the league. --208.204.155.241 15:59, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Another pro wrestler, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, played for the New Jersey Generals prior to becoming a "World Champion" in the Universal Wrestling Federation, run by Bill Watts.
The Pittsburgh Maulers never finished with a record of 7-11. Also, they were only in the league for one season in 1984 when their record was 3-15.
This page is way too long. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Standleylake40 (talk • contribs) 06:26, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
External links
To reiterate what was said in the edit summary: Per WP:Citing sources -- External links should not be used in abundance throughout the article, they should be used via inline citations. When did this article get a "B" rating? I'm not sure it should have that right now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.249.87.68 (talk) 11:41, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

splitting
This article should be split into 2013 and 1982 sections rather than just having a section labelled revival. As the league comes closer to its 2013 revival, and once that time comes, the 2013 league will need far more than just a section of an article about a league 30 years ago.
- We should wait and see if the new USFL actually comes to fruition before splitting off a separate article, imo. There have been several other spring/summer football leagues announced over the past few years that never kicked off at all. Zeng8r (talk) 00:38, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed, and then we can go with 'USFL (2013-present)'. I have a shiny loonie here that says the new USFL never gets off the ground..... Dbrodbeck (talk) 03:10, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
