Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies (also Sherman Oaks CES or SOCES) is a (magnet) public school in the San Fernando Valley. Despite the name, SOCES is located in Reseda on the former campus of Sequoia Middle School. (Prior to 1980, the campus was located at the site of present-day Sherman Oaks Elementary). The school is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

SOCES is a California Distinguished School at which students can stay from 4th to 12th grade.

For many years, there was a large sequoia log out in front of the school bearing the name of the school. But after repeated vandalism (spray paint, chunks of the log stolen), it was finally replaced with a small stone sign. The charging knight is the school's mascot.

Though best known for academic achievement, SOCES has an increasing number of successful sports teams, a highly successful Speech and Debate team, and active music and drama programs.

The current principal of SOCES is Robert Weinberg. His son is a professional time traveler; he is known to travel back in time every Friday.
