Hello -
Recently you rejected my article on Deep Ocean Minerals https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Deep_Ocean_Minerals&action=edit&redlink=1 and I sent you a message about this (no response yet. I then got talking in the editors chat room and during this chat was advised the article was not deleted as such (see link above). I explained that I had been given permission to use a word document as the basis of the article - and some of this word document was used in a printed online article. So there was some confusion on my part. He explained that a form needed to be filled out by the author of the article which has been done (see below). However I now come back to the link that was provided and found that others have now deleted the whole thing. Can you please advise of next steps give the copyright permission from the person who provided me with the key information:
I hereby affirm that I, Anthony Philip JACOBS, am the creator and hold the original Word Documents of the exclusive copyright of http://www.harnisch.com/uploads/tx_harnisch/wfe_0314minerals_and_trace_elements.pdf I have provided the Wikipedia Author, Thaiso, permission to use this material for a Wikipedia article on Deep Ocean Minerals. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks Sharon — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thaiso (talk • contribs) 03:24, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Thaiso: You, or if possible, the author has to send that to permissions-en@wikimedia.org for archival and confirmation. This can not be done over talk pages, for various reasons. Thank you for your understanding. (t) Josve05a (c) 14:41, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

- Thanks for your reply to my message below advising to email with the Copyright permission. I have done this but have heard nothging back - can you advise how long it takes to get a response? I don't want to hassle anyone but just would be good to have a time frame. Much appreciated. Sharon
- @Thaiso: It depends on how long the backlogs currently are. I, myself, do not have access to these services and can not check it, but it usually ranges from one to three weeks (if unlucky). (t) Josve05a (c) 06:17, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

'Call Center Pros' page
Hi. I have been writing to you for quite a long and you are not replying back and just deleting the message.. You have told me that my page 'Call Center Pros' violates copyright issue. You told that this site http://www.donehealth.com/new-best-call-center-pros.html has the same content but this content was originally written by me for wikipedia and had submitted here only. I have no clue how this site crawled my content from wikipedia and this site seems fake. Can you please reconsider my case not wasting any more time! Kindly reply as soon as possible. — Preceding undated comment added 04:42, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

- Naaawe! Thank you! To bad I don't store these anymore, since I thought looked kind of "hat collecting/barnstart collecting" on my user page(s). I take these words to heart, so thank you again! (t) Josve05a (c) 01:12, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

I wrote and own the content written on http://artistecard.com/danielwinans the same day I wrote the content for Daniel. I'm not that familiar with edit/coding in wikipedia. I updated this information on the link for his family - The Winans, but I'm as an individual artist and grammy award winner I am also trying to create his on identity. I see no indication that website have released their content under a free license that allows everybody to re-use and modify their content for any purpose, including commercial purposes - and that would be the kind of license required to re-use the content on Wikipedia.
If you own the material on that website, please read and follow the guidelines on Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. That said, that website would not be considered a reliable source; they're out to promote the subject of your article, not to provide accurate information. Copy-pasting content from such websites would not give a good encyclopedia article even if we had the permission. You should find sources such as newspapers, reputable magazines or peer-reviewed scholarly papers, sources which are subject to editorial oversight and which have a reputation for fact-checking, discussing the subject in some detail, and summarize what those sources report. Copyright speedy eligibility
First of all, I want to say it is very much appreciated that you check for copyright violations - very few users do even though it is very important. However, I did want to remind you that if only a portion of page is a copyvio (such as was the case at Draft:Hild (novel)) then it isn't eligible for speedy deletion. By all means, decline the draft if it contains any copyrighted text and/or remove it yourself if you have the time. If the violation is too complex to fix quickly, but there appears to be non-copyrighted text in the article, then it can be listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Thanks! --ThaddeusB (talk) 21:39, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

Kristen Jensen rejection due to copyright
Hello, I just received a notice stating that the Wikipedia article that I submitted was rejected due to copyright. It cites the source as http://www.kristenjensen.om/about/. In fact, much of the information included is from that source as I am the person who wrote both the article and the about page for kristen jensen on her web page. I am her webmaster, drained the page, and wrote the copy information. How do I get this cleared up?

Request on 21:33:19, 20 February 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by 95.67.102.245
Dear editor (t) Josve05a (c) ,
It goes about Articles for creation: Tigran Maytesian. I have got your notification at my User’s Page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:95.67.102.245#Your_submission_at_Articles_for_creation:_Tigran_Maytesian_.28February_20.29) that my submission not been accepted because it included copyrighted information, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. Actually, it seems to be either some awful mistake of yours or some strange personal attack from your side on my volunteer contribution.
First, there is no copyright violation from my side as there has been received a permission from the copyright holder to release this material under both the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license and the GNU Free Documentation License. Both licenses may be used. Evidence of this has been confirmed and stored by OTRS volunteers, under ticket number 2015020610023567. I have permission to use copyrighted work (information from http://www.tigranmaytesian.com) as it goes in the Draft talk: This template is used by approved volunteers dealing with the Wikimedia Open Ticket Request System (OTRS) after receipt of a clear statement of permission at permissions-en wikimedia.org. ) (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_talk:Tigran_Maytesian)
Second, you claim that my article submission to Articles for Creation (i.e. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Tigran_Maytesian) has been reviewed and has not been accepted. If so, please explain me why the Draft:Tigran_Maytesian is still among the submissions currently (i.e. on February 20, 2015) waiting for review as a Pending AfC submission (see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Pending_AfC_submissions&pagefrom=P201502100944%0AA.+Testoni+S.p.A.#mw-pages)???? How should I understand your statement then???
Moreover, the AFC notification at the bottom of my article submission says that "If the submission is declined, then the reason will be posted here" (that means at the Draft:Tigran_Maytesian page but not on my User’s page!!!). The Wikipedia AFC notification further goes “Please check back here (at the Draft:Tigran_Maytesian page!!!) later to see the outcome of your request.” Tell me, please, how shall I understand this ambiguity, discrepancy between the Wikipedia notification and your statement???
To avoid further misunderstanding, please be aware that as a contributor to this article I am a volunteer with no financial interest or personal relation to the subject of the article, i.e. to Mr. Tigran Maytesian. I have never declared a personal or professional connection to the subject of this article. I have placed there reliably sourced information with the neutral point of view. Any accusations of the conflict of interest, autobiography or as you stated, copyright violation, with regard to my volunteer contribution are groundless and unfair. Should you need any proof of my volunteer, fully free and unbiased contribution and of my entitlement to use this copyrighted information, please, tell me what evidence I need to provide you to prevent such groundless accusations.
I would like to thank you in advance for your clarification and hope that you will settle this issue in an honest and positive way so that you will let my draft of the article be reviewed for acceptance without any prejudice and obstruction.
Best wishes, 95.67.102.245 (talk) 21:33, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
