Private message to I dream of horses
Hello, and thank you for making the system notify me of you reverting the edit I made on the Amchitka page. My justification for doing that is related to the people who worked on the project and the people who lived in the area. That joke became part of the culture to the point that even in Anchorage and Fairbanks it would get told every time the name of that island came up. To be true to the culture and the people, I would ask that you put it back in. I had it set aside in a box and referenced as a joke. Perhaps it would go better further down in the article, as a cultural impact of Cannikin. The people who influenced the project leaders to use that name are the same people who made up that joke. Not the onees who used Milrow before. There was a population shift as a result of the two MT tests. And at 5 MT the 1971 test most definitely blew the 'chit' out of it - the talk at the time was that it was the biggest ever done and the biggest that would ever be done. No tsar bomba's to be done by the US, you know. But it was indisputably very large. Hence the joke about renaming the island. Because people would not want to move back to Amchitka, but Amka would be OK, after 20-40 years or so. So you can see I did this honestly, albeit with tongue planted firmly in cheek. No need to cry when you can laugh. They had to cry with the first MT test already. It was still a fresh memory. People were worried that the US would just continue to ignore the test ban treaties that other countries had to follow. The bans favored by President Kennedy. Looking back you can see they were correct, as the US never ratified the comprehensive test ban treaty until 1996, 25 years after the bomb that blew the chit out of the island. And if any Sovs were around to hear, it was always good to remind them of Amka. Could be brought to your home corner courtesy of the US Air Force. And as for Alaskans, we felt violated much worse than we were in the 1940s by the nips. It was our own country bombing us, and nobody could stop it.
SO PLEASE PUT IT BACK IN.

- Please put a citation with it to prove that this isn't all just original research.
- By the way, it's a good idea to email anyone you wish to speak to privately. I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 02:07, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
Superdelegate numbers
Hello, thank you for taking the time to write. I started a thread on this exact topic on the talk page for the article (it got slightly derailed because I misread support for a separate question), but my explanation is there and it would be great to have another contributor to the conversation there, so please read over my explanation @ Talk:Democratic Party presidential primaries, 2016#Superdelegate count and respond there. You can also respond on my talk page if you are not comfortable responding there.PotvinSux (talk) 05:03, 15 February 2016 (UTC)

New account
Hi I dream of horses, I'm back on Wikipedia. Apparently some moron named Cyphoidbomb was stupid enough to block me for sock puppetry reasons. But the truth is, I am not sock puppeting anyone. But if Cyphoidbomb rudely blocks me again, I will either block him or leave. Do you agree on this situation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DanTomMason1997 (talk • contribs) 09:58, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- @DanTomMason1997: You should either leave or appeal your block through legitimate channels, particularly seeing as how this message alerts Cyphoidbomb to your presence. -- I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 02:11, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Troll at best, incompetent at worst. His accounts have been blocked numerous times and he hasn't figured out what sockpuppetry is yet? Dubious. He should feel free to take up his offer to leave, since that's what the community would prefer. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:54, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for your welcome (but I am NOT new to WP and I do have a user a/c already). IP editing is COOL also sometimes. 47.17.27.189 (talk) 20:18, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
