Disambiguation link notification for April 20
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Adam Levine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ashtanga Yoga (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Pending release of Notifications
Hey Ansumang :). I'm dropping you a note because you have signed up for the Notifications, or Echo, newsletter.
If all goes according to plan, we should be launching Echo on en-wiki either tomorrow, or next Tuesday - I'll drop a followup tomorrow when we know what's happening. Should the launch succeed, we'll begin the process of triaging bugs and gathering feedback on what features work, what cause problems, and what we should do next; I hope you'll help us out on these fronts by leaving any comments you might have on the talkpage.
Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 22:03, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

DYK Question
Hello, I'm hoping you can help with this question (seems everyone at DYK is offline). Would the WBSC (AM) article be eligible for DYK in it's current state? I have updated the article with a TON of information, but not sure if it is 5x or not. Thanks in advance. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 08:14, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- Question was taken care of by User:Alex Bakharev. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 08:25, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for asking Neutralhomer. How come I got notified (web) only after your second message!. "DYK check" assuming article is at 5x now, but by one of the WikiProjects it is rated as 'stub' and i see afd is no longer an issue, good work. Thanks for your contributions :-) -- ɑηsuмaη « ৳ᶏ ɭϞ » 09:01, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Article Feedback Tool update
Hey Ansumang. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles.
We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article.
Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) 21:43, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest
I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 01:44, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Motto of the Day Help Request April 2014
Motto of the Day (WP:MOTD) is in a state of emergency and really needs your help! There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months.
Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials. Any help would be appreciated! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

ABOUT PAGE:Durgapur, Angul
Ansuman Sir,
GOOD EVENING. Sir, today I have added four new jpg images to th page "Durgapur, Angul". But the last image " MOBILE TOWERS" for village Durgapur is invisible in the page to watch; and requires "upload" again after its successful upload also. As I am uploading the images for the first time in a "WIKIPEDIA PAGE"; I am unable to know the fault. Also there is a problem in viewing the first image(APARAJITA-MAA-DURGA) in larger view. Also I want to copy the images for its regional page(ଦୁର୍ଗାପୁର, ଅନୁଗୋଳ) in "ODIA". So please help me in this regard as I had got previously. Thanking you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
